The Challenge

Varley’s growth brought significant digital complexity, including international expansion, sophisticated technologies, and large-budget performance marketing. 

The challenge was to maintain a calm, premium aesthetic while supporting rapid scale, ensuring that every channel and system remained aligned, stable, and commercially effective. 

With an ever-growing and complex third-party application tech stack, we made the decision to move to Headless Shopify in 2024, partnering with Sanity CMS and Shopify hosting to enable exponential growth for the Brand in the forthcoming years. Varley drives a very high level of customisation for all of its application partners, and a headless environment makes this approach far more efficient and easier to manage.
